There looks to be a break in the weather this weekend, allowing for some good outside activities this weekend.  There is still a chance to catch a performance or two at the KC Fringe Festival, spend the weekend at the City Market, or spend some time with your pup at the dog park.

KC Fringe Festival
July 27th, 28th & 29th

The KC Fringe Festival is celebrating it's 13th year of arts and culture performances.  The festival features over 100 artists and 17 venues around Kansas City.  Performances include cabaret, comedy, dance, film, music, spoken word, theater and variety.

Buttons for entry to the performances are $5 and may be purchased at each venue before showtime or at the Fringe 411 office (theatre level of Union Station, across from the concession stand).  See a full schedule of performances in the KC Fringe brochure.  Keep your button, it qualifies you for special perks at several locations around the City.

Don't miss "The Best of KC Fringe" on Sunday from 1:30 - 6:00, with encore performances from shows with the highest attendance for each venue.  There will be a closing night party at Union Station with food and drink, so bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the company.

Hopefully you can find a way to enjoy this beautiful Kansas City weekend.  I am off to Colorado for the Tiny House Festival.  I can't wait to tour all of the tiny houses and learn more about the tiny house lifestyle to see if it is for me!  It is held at the Wildlife Animal Sanctuary, so I might even get to see some lions and tigers and bears!  Follow me on Instagram for highlights from the weekend.

XOXO - Tami
