Serenity on the Square Labor Day Donation Class | The Veterans Community Project

I am honored to be a part of a very special nonprofit fundraiser this Labor Day weekend.  My friends at Serenity on the Square are hosting a donation class, benefiting The Veterans Community Project.  I have been a yoga student and frequently receive services from this amazing business.  You instantly feel the love when you walk in the doors of Serenity.  It is no surprise that they dedicate so much of their time to supporting local organizations, using their talents and passion to bring awareness to Kansas City area nonprofits.

All proceeds from the Labor Day donation class will go to The Veterans Community Project.  This nonprofit dedicates itself to making a difference in the lives of homeless Veterans.  They are currently building the Veterans Village, consisting of tiny houses and support services for veterans.  I was able to visit the community and meet staff, some of which are veterans, that are working daily towards this cause.  You can learn more about the project and donate directly on the VCP website.

Hopefully, you will be able to make it to the donation class at Serenity on the Square on Monday, September 4th from 9:00AM - 10:30AM.  I produced this video providing more information about Serenity’s donation classes and The Veterans Community Project.

See you on the mat!

XOXO - Tami
